Nestly is a mobile app designed to foster harmony and collaboration in shared living spaces. Created as part of a UX/UI design project, Nestly addresses common challenges faced by roommates and housemates — especially in the post-COVID era — by combining practical household management tools with thoughtful emotional intelligence features. The app helps users establish routines, set boundaries, share goals, and communicate more effectively, turning potential friction into smoother co-living experiences.
Core features include a shared calendar and chore board for organizing daily responsibilities, a bill tracker with split payments, and a “Roomie Agreements” tool for setting house rules and expectations upfront. Additional highlights are mood check-ins with mental health resources, conflict resolution prompts, quick notes, and gamified rewards that encourage positive collaboration. These elements blend productivity with positivity, making shared living less stressful and more supportive.
The visual identity features a friendly, colorful illustration style with approachable mascots, a soft yet vibrant color palette of purples, yellows, and warm accents, and clean, modern typography. From low-fidelity wireframes to polished high-fidelity mockups, the design emphasizes clarity, warmth, and ease of use, creating an inviting digital home that feels both functional and emotionally attuned to users’ needs.
